ClubCarbon is run by Ben Johnson · Sustainability Advisory. Here's what happens to your information, in plain terms.
What we hold
Your name and email, and the invoices or bills your club uploads. Those documents can contain sensitive details such as account numbers or addresses, they're treated the same way as the figures they contain: used only to build your club's report.
Who else sees it
Uploaded documents are sent to Anthropic's Claude API, which reads the figures off them. Payment, if your club subscribes, is handled entirely by Stripe, we never see or store card details. Nothing is sold or shared beyond that. Inside ClubCarbon itself, a club only ever sees its own data; a governing body sees the clubs under it, and Ben sees everything to check extractions and prepare reports.
Where it's kept, and for how long
On a private server in the EU. Data is kept for as long as your club's account is active, so past years stay available for reporting, and removed on request.
Your rights
Email benjbj2000@gmail.com any time for a copy of what's held on your club, or to have it deleted, and it'll be actioned directly, no form, no waiting on a support ticket.
